At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your accommodation in Porto Seguro and make our way to Vila de Santo André, where we will embark on a boat journey along the João de Tiba River. This river, which lies on the border between Bahia and Minas Gerais, is often referred to as the Santa Cruz River.

Upon reaching the boarding location, we'll step onto the boat and glide along the João de Tiba River until we reach its merger with the Mutum River. Here, we'll cut off the engines, as we'll navigate through a narrow natural tunnel created by indigenous vegetation, offering a fantastic chance to capture some memorable photographs!

After traversing this segment, we'll arrive at an idyllic area featuring an orchard with homes lining the banks of the João de Tiba River, maintained by local families over generations.

We will disembark to interact with the local inhabitants and gather seasonal fruits. Additionally, we will explore the traditional cuisine and discover the plants utilized for natural healing within this indigenous community that cherishes its heritage. Following this, we'll delve into captivating stories about the river's history. If you wish, an option to enjoy horseback riding will be available.

Ultimately, we will reboard the boat to head back to Santo André. From there, we will return you to your hotel in Porto Seguro, with an estimated return time of 8 hours post pickup.
