Situated 60 kilometers (37 miles) from Porto and nestled in the stunning Serra do Marão, Amarante overlooks the Tâmega River, which is the longest tributary of the Duero. The breathtaking views from the city's vantage points upon arrival will set a majestic backdrop for our exploration of this charming locale.

As we stroll through its scenic streets, you will have the chance to admire the charming houses that adorn both banks of the river.
