Tour Description
The Porto sightseeing bus operates two different routes, both equipped with an audio guide in English:
The Red Line
This tour has 12 stops and takes 2 hours to complete. Significant landmarks include Batalha, the Crystal Palace, Castelo do Queijo, and Clérigos Church.
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: first departure at 10:20 am, last at 5:50 pm, every 25 minutes.
- Friday to Sunday: first departure at 10:10 am, last at 5:50 pm, every 20 minutes.
Special schedules: on December 24, 2026, until 1 pm; no service on December 25, 2026.
The Blue Line
This route has 8 stops and lasts 1 hour, featuring landmarks like Jardim do Morro and Serra do Pilar Monastery.
Schedule: daily from 10:15 am to 5:45 pm, every 30 minutes.
Special schedules: on December 24, 2026, until 1 pm; no service on December 25, 2026.

Tickets can be booked in the following options:
24-Hour Ticket
This ticket includes a 24-hour pass and two walking tours:
- Tour of the historical centre: daily at 12 pm from Bus Stop 2 on the Red Line.
- Tour of Porto and Gaia: daily at 3 pm from Bus Stop 1 of both lines.
Wine tasting at wineries such as Espaço Porto Cruz, Quinta da Boeira, or Museu 1º Demarcação is included, along with a 50% discount at Real Companhia Velha. It also features a scenic night tour from Bus Stop 2 with varying times throughout the year.
48-Hour Ticket
This option includes all benefits of the 24-hour ticket for 48 hours.
48-Hour Ticket + Six Bridges Boat Tour
This ticket includes the same benefits as the 24-hour ticket, plus a 50-minute boat tour along the Douro River, departing every 30 minutes with specified schedules.

Walking Tours in English of Porto
- Tour of the historical centre: leaving at 12 pm every day from Bus Stop 2 on the Red Line.

Scenic Tour of Porto by Night
This tour sets off from Bus Stop 2 on the Red Line with the following schedule:
- January, February, November, and December: 6 pm
- March and October: 7 pm
- April and September: 8 pm
- May, June, July, and August: 9 pm
Boat Tour of the Six Bridges
Please be aware that this activity is only included in the 48-Hour Ticket + Six Bridge Boat Tour option.
This 50-minute boat tour along the Douro River sets off every 30 minutes from Cais do Douro Acima (Douro Acima Pier) and Ribeira do Porto (close to Ribeira Square). Its schedule is as follows:
- April to October: 10 am to 6:30 pm
- November to March: 10 am to 4:30 pm
Additional Info
During the tour, you'll be given single-use earphones. To be as environmentally conscious as possible and to avoid waste, we recommend bringing your own.
