This remarkable monastic complex, dating back to the 17th century, is situated adjacent to the Portuguese Center of Photography, right in Porto’s vibrant historic district.

Upon your arrival, you will be greeted with a refreshing glass of Singeverga, a delightful liqueur crafted by Benedictine monks. Once you’ve enjoyed this traditional drink, you will embark on a self-guided tour of the monastery.

As you wander through the premises, you will uncover the monastery's key rooms, highlighting the magnificent church of São Bento da Vitória. Here, you will find an exquisite 18th-century organ alongside a stunning Baroque altar adorned with gold.

Following your exploration, you will make your way to the sacristy, where a captivating performance of fado, the quintessential Portuguese music genre, awaits you.
