Six Bridges Cruise
Description
The Six Bridges Cruise in Porto ranks as a must-visit attraction for those exploring the city. This journey along the Douro River offers an opportunity to admire stunning vistas.
Six Bridges Cruise
At the scheduled time, we will gather at the Ribeira pier to embark on our renowned cruise, where we will navigate the Douro from the iconic Dom Luis I Bridge and the Arrábida Bridge to the Freixo Bridge, which marks the easternmost point of Porto.
In addition to these, the itinerary includes crossings over the Infante Don Enrique Bridge (constructed in 2003), the Maria Pia Bridge (engineered by Théophile Seyrig, a collaborator of Gustave Eiffel, in 1873), and the São João Bridge (reserved for train traffic).
Beyond the structural marvels, participants can savor breathtaking views of both Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia, celebrated for its prominent wine cellars. Notably, this cruise is aboard a traditional Rabelo boat, historically used to ferry barrels from the valley's vineyards to the Gaia wine cellars.
At the conclusion of our 50-minute cruise on the Douro, we will return to our original departure point.
Sunset Cruise
Opting for this alternative allows us to experience a 1.5-hour cruise on the Douro River as the sun dips below the horizon in Porto.
We will travel beneath the same six bridges mentioned earlier, but at a more relaxed pace. Guests are treated to a beverage and an assortment of snacks to enjoy during the ride, with a variety of options available.
Please be aware that the sunset cruise is available at 6:30 pm from May to October, specifically on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

For those starting from the opposite side of the Douro, the six bridges cruise from Vila Nova de Gaia is available to reserve.
