Details of the Tour
Your experience begins at Rua do Corpo da Guarda 18, where we'll hop on our tuk-tuk and commence our exploration of Porto.
As we navigate through the charming streets of the historic district and its time-honored fortifications, we'll stop at the impressive São Bento Station and move on to the Porto Cathedral. Renowned for its Romanesque style, this cathedral is distinguished by its sturdy structure and fortress-like character.
Next, our journey takes us to the Avenida dos Aliados, a majestic promenade flanked by notable buildings showcasing a blend of late 19th and early 20th-century architectural styles. During this segment, we'll pass by the captivating Igreja do Carmo and Igreja dos Carmelitas, two adjacent Baroque Rococo churches famous for their artistic azulejo tile work.
Our path continues to the Clérigos Tower, a landmark that defines the skyline of Porto, followed by a visit to Livraria Lello, often hailed as one of the most exquisite bookstores globally.
Proceeding along Rua das Taipas, we’ll head towards Miragaia and the lively Ribeira district, offering splendid views of the Douro River. This area is characterized by its narrow streets and buildings that rise steeply, blending seamlessly with the hillside topography.
After approximately 50 minutes on the tuk-tuk, you’ll receive a ticket for the six bridges cruise. Enjoy a delightful boat trip along the Douro, drifting beneath the iconic viaducts that link Gaia and Porto.
Tuk-Tuk Tour + Cruise + Winery Experience (2 hours)
For those who wish to immerse themselves fully, we offer an additional option that includes a 30-minute guided tour at a winery, complete with a tasting of 2 glasses of wine, available in English at either Burmester or Fonseca.
Timetables for Cruises and Winery Visits
- Six Bridges Cruise: available daily from 10:30 am to 6 pm (April to September) and 11 am to 4 pm (October to March). The ticket is flexible and can be redeemed at your convenience.
- Guided winery visit: takes place daily from 11 am to 5 pm. At the conclusion of your tuk-tuk tour, you will be provided with your winery ticket along with details for making a reservation to ensure your spot.
- The winery visit can be scheduled either on the same day as the tuk-tuk tour or within the subsequent 30 days.
- Please be aware that if you book the 6 pm tour, you will not be able to attend the winery visit or cruise on that day. Both activities can be enjoyed the following day or within 30 days.

Important information
Tuk-Tuk Tour Meeting Point
On the day of the activity, you'll need to head at the designated time to the Tourism Office in front of the São Bento train station (the red building), located at the following address: Rua do Corpo da Guarda, 18. Please arrive 15 minutes in advance.
Cruise & Winery Visit Meeting Points
Cruise of the six bridges: Vila Nova de Gaia dock (Cais de Gaia). You can get on any ROTA DO DUORO boat with the voucher we'll give you at the end of the tuk tuk tour.
Guided visit to the winery in Porto:
- Burmester Winery, located next to the Luis Bridge (Largo Dom Luís I, 4400-111 Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal)
Cruise & Winery Tour Schedule
The timetables for the Six Bridges Cruise and the guided tour of the Port Wine Cellar are as follows:
- Six Bridges Cruise: Every day from 9:30 am to 6 pm (from April to October) and from 11 am to 4 pm (from November to March)
- Guided tour of the Port wine cellar: Every day from 11 am to 5 pm
- If you book the tour at 6 pm, you won't be able to visit the wineries or do the cruise on the same day as the tuk-tuk tour. You can do it the next day or within the following 30 days.
To ensure that an English-speaking guide is available for the winery tour, you'll need to make a reservation in advance. At the end of the tuk-tuk tour, we'll explain how you can do this. However, there is no need to book the boat tour in advance as this is included with your ticket.
Ticket Validity
Both the cruise and the winery visit can be done on the same day as the tuk-tuk tour (if available) or within the next 30 days.

Please be aware that the duration of the activity may vary depending on traffic conditions. We advise against scheduling any additional activities or making other plans within an hour after the scheduled end time.
