Challenging Hiking in Potrerillos

Upon making your reservation, you will have the option to select between two demanding hiking paths in Potrerillos. Each trek lasts approximately 6 to 7 hours, guided by an English-speaking expert, and commences from the Parque de Aventura:

Las Cabras Trek

Our adventure starts with a bus ride to El Salto, where we will begin a high-intensity hike. We will navigate through the gorge for around 5 hours until we arrive at the renowned waterfall. Should the weather be favorable, you may have the chance to refresh yourself in the waterfall.

Following this, the trail leads us to Las Cabras Hill. Upon reaching the peak, we will pause for a meal of sandwiches, fruit, juice, and water before descending back to our starting point.

This trek is particularly recommended during the winter season.

Arenales Hill Trek

We will depart from the Parque de Aventura and take a bus to the Vallecitos region. There, our hike will take us to the summit of Arenales Hill, which stands at an elevation of 11,076 feet (3,376 meters). This route is categorized as moderate to difficult.

At the top, we will enjoy a picnic lunch featuring sandwiches, fruit, juice, and water. In winter, anticipate walking in snow, so renting snowshoes is advisable.

We suggest this hike be experienced in summer.
