Description
Located in the southern region of Bohemia, the enchanting town of ?eský Krumlov is renowned for its remarkable castle and historic center, earning it a status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992.
Day Trip Overview
Departing from the heart of Prague, we will journey southward by road, traversing through towns with Hussite history, Baroque-style villages, and some of the most stunning scenery found in the Czech Republic.
Following approximately 2.5 hours of travel, we will arrive in ?eský Krumlov, where a guided tour awaits. Highlights will include well-known sights such as the Barber's Bridge and the Church of Saint Vitus. The tour will then lead us to Latrán, located at the lower section of the impressive ?eský Krumlov Castle.
After the tour concludes, you will have leisure time for lunch and the opportunity to shop. For those interested, a visit to the castle with a local guide is available for an additional fee.
In the afternoon, we will enjoy a leisurely walk through the Baroque gardens of the castle, soaking in the breathtaking views that will transport you to a storybook realm.
Upon finishing the day’s journey, we will return to the initial meeting point in Prague, with an estimated arrival between 10 and 11 hours post-departure.
Tour of ?eský Krumlov Castle
Should you wish to explore ?eský Krumlov Castle, tickets will need to be purchased on-site on the day of the visit, at a cost of 300CZK per person. An informational brochure in your language will be provided to assist with the tour. The tour itself is offered in either English or Czech and runs for 50 minutes.

The tour meets at Powder Tower (Prašná brána) at 8:30 am. Please be on time, and please be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as this tour will involve walking.

Please note that Cesky Krumlov Castle is open at the following times:
- From January 2nd to March 31st, 2025: Tuesday to Sunday. Please note that only the castle museum and tower can be visited.
- From April 1st to October 31st, 2025: Tuesday to Sunday.
