Prague Zoo Tickets + Audio Guide
Description
With your entry to the Prague Zoo, you'll uncover the reasons behind its recognition as one of the foremost zoos globally. An audio guide in English is included to allow you to roam freely across its 123 acres (50 hectares), making it an ideal outing for families.
Prague Zoo Overview
Established in 1931, the Prague Zoo serves as a beacon of conservation. Nestled in the rugged landscape of Prague-Troja, its development represented a significant architectural challenge, creatively utilizing natural rock formations to harmonize the structures with the surroundings.
This zoo has achieved global acclaim, being recognized as the fifth best zoo worldwide. This accolade was awarded following its remarkable recovery from the catastrophic floods of 2002, which necessitated a complete reconstruction featuring the most advanced facilities in Europe.
Covering over 123 acres (50 hectares), the zoo is committed to the preservation of endangered species, including the notable Przewalski's horse, which has been successfully reintroduced into Mongolia’s steppes through the park's efforts.
Your ticket grants you the freedom to explore an environment hosting over 5000 animals. To enhance your experience, an audio guide in English will accompany you as you embark on a journey through the zoo’s 15 themed sections and over 150 exhibitions, representing five continents.
