Join us on an immersive journey through Prignano Cilento, where we will explore its significant monuments and savor the renowned Cilento white fig, a cherished local delicacy!

Description

We will gather at the designated time in front of the City Hall of Prignano Cilento. Here, the local mayor will extend a warm welcome and introduce us to the charm of this picturesque town located in the Campania region.

Our adventure will begin at Piazza Municipio, where we will admire the contemporary art installation Canne, crafted by Elio Rumma. Following this, we will stroll through the enchanting medieval streets of Prignano Cilento, each corner revealing a piece of its rich religious architecture.

As we make our way along the Cuesta di San Giuseppe, we’ll pass through its archways and doorways, taking in sights like a quaint medieval well and the chapel of San Giuseppe.

Continuing our exploration, we will arrive at the Tempone, a historic gate leading into the town's heart. Here, we will visit an artisan factory of Cilento white figs, an ancient variety of fig. Our tour will include a walkthrough of the production facilities and gardens, culminating in a delightful tasting of treats such as the Monnato white fig, perfect for those with a sweet tooth!

Our guided tour will proceed past the Palazzo Marchesale Cardone and the church of San Nicola. To conclude this enriching experience, we will enjoy a lunch featuring two courses and a drink, all while taking in breathtaking vistas of the Amalfi Coast.

After approximately four hours, we will return to our original meeting point, concluding our delightful exploration.
