4-Hour Fishing Tour

We'll gather at the designated floating bar, located near the Santa Catalina bridge, and set sail toward the stunning Palmera and Basalto Cays to engage in our fishing adventure. Fishing here is an age-old tradition that serves as a vital source of sustenance for the local community.

As we navigate the waters from north to the south of Providencia, our guide will demonstrate how to clean the catch and employ the trolling technique, which involves dragging bait from the vessel. With these skills at your disposal, it’s time to catch barracuda and mackerel!

Moreover, we will take the opportunity to admire the breathtaking natural beauty of the Colombian Caribbean, passing by some of Providencia's most idyllic beaches, including Aguadulce and Bahía Sur Oeste. We will make a stop at the latter for a lunch featuring grilled fish.

After four enriching hours filled with fishing, we’ll return to our starting location.

5-Hour Lionfish Fishing Tour

For those seeking a more immersive experience, a professional diving certificate and at least 20 dives are required to join our lionfish fishing tour. Renowned for its tender, boneless white meat, this fish is considered a delicacy in the region.

On this adventure, we will set out to fish at One Hook and Pelagic Spot, two prime locations where lionfish are abundant, along with a vibrant display of coral reefs. We will use specially designed Hawaiian harpoons to target these fish. Following this experience, you will enjoy a delightful lionfish ceviche for lunch.

Participants opting for this tour will meet directly at the Felipe Diving Centre.
