Activity Overview

Are you prepared for one of the most exhilarating experiences Tenerife has to offer? Join us for a thrilling buggy expedition around Teide! Our journey begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in Puerto de la Cruz, followed by a minibus ride to our launch site.

Upon arrival, a brief review of safety guidelines will be provided before you hop into the buggies. To boost your confidence, there's an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the vehicles in a specified practice area before we set off.

Are you eager to drive? We’ll embark on our adventure through lush trails that offer a stunning contrast to the island’s desolate and surreal landscapes, heading toward our first destination: La Caldera. Here, you'll have the chance to marvel at this ancient volcanic structure and its unique geological features before we make our way to Ramón Caminero for a refreshing break.

After recharging, we’ll hop back into the buggies and proceed to Teide National Park. Along the way, you’ll encounter the distinctive terrains that characterize this area of Tenerife, getting your adrenaline pumping as we approach the spectacular Siete Cañadas. The diverse geology and flora, along with the mesmerizing views, will captivate you.

As we reach the climax of our journey, we’ll ascend to an altitude of 2,150 m (7,053 ft) right at the base of El Teide. After capturing spectacular photos and soaking in the surroundings, we’ll begin our exciting descent down alternative scenic paths.

We’ll return with the buggies to the start point where a delightful reward awaits: a selection of snacks and beverages to share and reflect on the day’s thrills!

Lastly, we will escort you back to your hotel in Puerto de la Cruz, concluding this adventure approximately 3 hours later.

Participant Requirements

To operate a buggy, you need to be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license. Children can accompany as passengers in specially designed seats. For double buggies, children must be a minimum of 120 cm (3 ft 9) tall, while for the four-seater option, the age requirement is 3 years.
