Tour Overview

Have you ever longed to navigate through enchanting urban environments? At the scheduled time, we will arrive at your accommodation in Puerto Escondido to transport you via minibus to our starting point, where you’ll collect your bike and embark on your journey.

Following a short briefing, we will mount our bicycles and pedal along serpentine routes that will take us through the city's picturesque landscapes. Legend has it that the origin of Puerto Escondido’s name stems from a young girl who managed to evade pirates!

As we proceed with our cycling, feel the refreshing ocean breeze and inhale the tropical aromas while we unveil the fascinating tales and influences that have crafted Oaxaca’s legacy as a harbor town.

We will then cycle onto a semi-private pathway that runs beside the river and meanders through the lush forests to the north of Puerto Escondido. After about an hour of cycling, we’ll pause to recharge during our ride.

During our break, we will indulge in a traditional breakfast at San José El Quequestle, where we will relish authentic Oaxacan dishes such as mole, bean or quesillo sopes (traditional corn tortillas), tamales, eggs, alongside coffee and refreshments. Buen provecho!

Ultimately, we will make our way back to Puerto Escondido, concluding the tour approximately 4 hours after our initial pickup.
