Sunset Excursion to Cerro Avanzado

As the sun begins to dip below the horizon, we'll collect you from your lodging in Puerto Madryn and board a 4x4 vehicle for an adventure across the dunes of Punta Loma and Paraná beach. Our first stop will be to view the remains of El Folías, a submerged fishing vessel.

After a half-hour journey, we will arrive at Cerro Avanzado, a striking hill rising over 91 meters (300 feet) above the coastline. In the soft twilight, we’ll navigate this scenic outcrop with binoculars and a torch, taking in the rugged beauty of the surroundings.

During our exploration, we’ll track the paw prints of local foxes and guanacos, while our guide shares fascinating insights about the geological history of the area. Just when you think you've seen it all, you'll be amazed by the presence of fossil remains.

After our trek, we will take a moment to relax and savor a glass of wine along with an aperitif amidst the serene Patagonian wilderness, all while basking in the beauty of the sunset sky. It’s a scene that promises to linger in your memory.

As we conclude our adventure, we will return you to Puerto Madryn and escort you back to your hotel, wrapping up the experience approximately two hours later.
