Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel at the designated time as we depart from Puerto Madryn towards the city of Trelew. Get ready to delve into thousands of years of Patagonia's history!
Upon arrival at the Egidio Feruglio Paleontological Museum, we will discover its origins and the significance of its conservation efforts. This 600-square meter (6,458 sq ft) facility showcases hundreds of fossils from species that once inhabited the southernmost region of Latin America.
We will explore the museum's operations and its commitment to ongoing research, emphasizing the ever-evolving field of paleontology. During our visit, we will navigate through various exhibition halls, paleontological parks, and laboratories. Each section offers insights into records from the Mesozoic era, traces of early humans, and the emergence of ancient organisms, promising to captivate your interest throughout!
After our tour of the museum, we will proceed towards the coast where a boat awaits to take us on an extraordinary dolphin-watching adventure.
On this 1-hour boat journey, we will navigate the waters, making stops in areas frequented by dolphins. This experience is made even more remarkable by the presence of the playful pink dolphins, or “toninas.” These delightful creatures are among the smallest dolphins on this coastline and are sure to steal your heart!
In conclusion, we will return to Puerto Madryn and conclude our experience, dropping you off at your hotel after approximately 5 to 6 hours of immersive activities.
