Your adventure begins upon your arrival at the port of Puerto Madryn, where we will welcome you before making our way to the Valdes Peninsula (entry fee not included), a breathtaking nature reserve just outside the city limits.

The journey leads us across the Carlos Ameghino isthmus, linking the peninsula to Chabut province on the mainland. This extraordinary wilderness spans approximately 1,400 square miles and hosts a diverse range of wildlife. Upon arrival, our first stop will be the Interpretation Center, located at the reserve's entrance. Inside, you will find an observation point that reveals gorgeous vistas of the peninsula, both gulfs, and the Isla de Los Pájaros (Bird Island), inhabited by gulls, herons, and even penguins.

Next, we head to the stunning bay of Caleta Valdés, where you will have the chance to observe elephant seals and sea lions in their natural environment. For a closer encounter with these fascinating animals, we will proceed to Punta Cantor. Here, you will have the opportunity to take a break and grab a bite to eat if you wish (meal not included).

Refreshed and ready to continue, we will resume our exploration of the peninsula. With a bit of luck, we might catch a glimpse of magnificent orcas, recognized as the largest members of the oceanic dolphin family, hunting together.

The final destination on our itinerary is the quaint village of Puerto Pirámides, the only inhabited area on the peninsula. This exquisite region has earned recognition as a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve due to its rich biodiversity. Amidst the crystalline blue waters and soft white sands, you will discover a remarkable colony of sea lions.

In the afternoon, we will head back to the port of Puerto Madryn, allowing you to reboard your cruise ship.
