A Journey to the Amazon and Santa Teresita Community

Your day will begin promptly at 8 am when a motorbike will transport you from your accommodation in Puerto Nariño to the local pier. Here, we will board a boat and set sail towards Santa Teresita.

As we navigate the enchanting Loretoyacu River, a tributary of the mighty Amazon, we will spend around thirty minutes on the water. This river serves as a vital corridor for the riverside communities, facilitating the transport of both goods and passengers. Keep an eye out for indigenous boats, as we may have the chance to see them during our journey.

Upon reaching the community of Santa Teresita, be prepared to be warmly welcomed by the local families who will share their rich stories and legends. This unique cultural exchange promises to leave a lasting impression.

Subsequently, guided by our knowledgeable hosts, we will delve into the heart of the Amazon rainforest. During this part of the tour, you'll be immersed in the vibrant jungle flora and the extraordinary wildlife that calls this ecosystem home.

After an exhilarating three hours of exploration in the Colombian jungle, we will return by boat to Puerto Nariño, arriving at the pier by 12 pm.
