Patagonian Glacier Expedition

Our gathering point is set at Hermann Eberhard 560, from where we will make our way to the docks in Puerto Natales. Here, you will board the vessel destined for the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers, located within the breathtaking O’Higgins National Park.

The cruise meanders through enchanting Patagonian terrain adorned with verdant forests and rolling hills as we navigate into the 'Última Esperanza Sound' (The Inlet of Last Hope). Keep your eyes peeled for sea lions lounging on coastal rocks, along with groups of cormorants and magnificent Andean condors.

During this three-hour journey along the fjord, marvel at a stunning cascade framed by rock formations known as 'The Virgin Sail', before reaching the foot of Balmaceda Mountain. The Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers majestically blanket the slopes of this peak, ascending to an impressive height of 6,500 feet.

Once we dock at Puerto Toro, a leisurely walk through a picturesque forest will lead us to the base of the Serrano glacier.

For those seeking sustenance, we will pause at a local eatery to indulge in a delicious barbecue, a staple of the region's culinary offerings.

The excursion culminates with our return voyage to Puerto Natales, where we will part ways after a fulfilling time of approximately 10 hours.
