Cruise Overview
Your adventure begins with a convenient pickup from your accommodation, followed by a comfortable journey in an air-conditioned bus to Puerto Rico de Gran Canaria. Here, you will board the impressive Afrikat 69 catamaran.
This sophisticated vessel measures 21 meters in length and accommodates up to 69 guests. On board, you will find an open bar featuring refreshments such as mineral water, coffee, juices, soft drinks, beer, and sangria. There's a spacious sun deck available with seating options, ideal for soaking up the sun as you glide through the tranquil waters of Gran Canaria's southwest coast.
Midway through your voyage, the catamaran will anchor at a picturesque bay, granting you 2 hours of leisure to snorkel and swim in the crystalline waters of the Atlantic. For those seeking adventure, options include a speedboat ride, jet ski, or parasailing. To replenish your energy, enjoy a delicious lunch on board, featuring a chicken wrap accompanied by pasta salad or sautéed vegetables for vegetarian guests.
Once lunch is finished, relax on the deck as the vessel navigates back to Puerto Rico de Gran Canaria. Afterward, a bus will be ready to return you to your hotel.
Pickup Locations
The cruise package includes hotel pickups from several tourist zones in southern Gran Canaria: Bahía Feliz, San Agustín, Playa del Inglés, Maspalomas, Costa Meloneras, Taurito, Playa Del Cura, and Arguineguín.
If you are located outside these areas or prefer to arrive independently, please arrive 30 minutes ahead of time at the Puerto Rico pier.
Optional Activities
Complimentary snorkeling gear is provided, and further water activity options are available throughout the cruise. Pricing for additional experiences includes:
- Speedboat: 5 EUR
- Donut ride: 10 EUR
- Jet ski: 35 EUR
- Parasailing: 35 EUR

Wheelchair accessible. This must be indicated in the reservation. Accessible toilets. An accompanying person is required.
Important information
Depending on the chosen schedule, your guide will pick you up from your hotel at the following times (approximately):
- Departures at 9:30 am: pickup at 7:50 am in Bahía Feliz and San Agustín; at 8:20 am in Playa del Inglés, Maspalomas, and Taurito; and at 8:45 am in Pasito Blanco, Costa Meloneras and Arguineguín.
- Departures at 10 am: approximate pickup between 9 and 9:15 am.
- Departures at 2:30 pm: pickup at 1 pm in Bahía Feliz and San Agustín; at 1:30 pm in Playa del Inglés, Maspalomas, and Taurito; and at 1:45 pm in Pasito Blanco, Costa Meloneras and Arguineguín.
The local provider will contact you to confirm the pickup point and time.
Option without Pickup
If you're staying in Puerto Rico or Las Palmas de Gran Canaria or you prefer to make your own way to the Pier of Puerto Rico, please arrive at least 30 minutes before the departure time. The exact address is: Afrikat Catamaran, Puerto Base St, Puerto Rico de Gran Canaria.
Optional Water Activities
Except for the speedboat ride and snorkeling, which are included, you'll have the option to do other water activities that are not included in the price of the excursion. The prices per person for each of them are:
- Donut: 10EUR
- Jet-ski: 35EUR
- Parasail: 35EUR
Please keep in mind that in order to enjoy the speedboat ride, you'll have to sign the necessary permission slips on the day of the tour.
