Postojna Cave & Predjama Castle Excursion

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your Pula hotel at 9 am. We will cross the border into Slovenia, heading straight for the renowned Postojna Cave, acknowledged as the most famous karst cave in Europe. You'll quickly understand its prominence once we enter.

Are you prepared to delve into the depths of the cave? During our exploration, you'll encounter stunning rock formations that have formed over millennia, including impressive stalagmites reaching heights of 5 meters.

To ensure we see all the impressive sites, we'll board a small train that takes us to areas inaccessible by foot. With this unique transport, we will marvel at features like the Murano glass chandeliers and the magnificent ballroom. Additionally, we will have the chance to spot olms, often referred to as the 'dragon's offspring'.

Next, we will visit Predjama Castle, a stunning fortress built into a cliffside. After taking in its striking exterior, we’ll venture inside to explore the castle's various rooms, enriched by captivating tales of its history, including the legend of Erasmus of Predjama, celebrated as the Slovenian Robin Hood.

Finally, we will return to Pula, with an estimated drop-off at your hotel by 4 pm, concluding our memorable tour.
