Mount Tarn Hiking Excursion
Your adventure commences between 8 and 8:30 am, as we collect you from your accommodation in Punta Arenas. From there, we will embark on a scenic 75-kilometer minibus ride towards the foothills of Mount Tarn, a tranquil mountain enveloped by verdant forests.
Upon our arrival, we will initiate our ascent through thick groves of cinnamon trees and other indigenous flora, immersing ourselves in the serene surroundings.
During our hike, you'll have the chance to soak in stunning vistas adorned with rich vegetation, and, if conditions allow, we will strive to reach the summit of Mount Tarn. Curious about what drew the renowned Charles Darwin to this peak? We'll share its intriguing history throughout the tour!
After exploring, we'll pause for a well-deserved lunch break to regain our energy. Following this, the final leg of the hike will present thrilling views of Dawson Island, the San Isidro Lighthouse, and the magnificent Strait of Magellan, a sight that is sure to leave a lasting impression!
Concluding our day, we will return to the vehicle for your transfer back to your hotel in Punta Arenas, arriving around 7 pm.
