Punta Negra Surfing Course
This surfing course takes place at Punta Rocas beach, a celebrated venue for surfing competitions in Lima, making it an ideal location to acquire skills for wave riding!
Guided by a qualified instructor, you will develop essential techniques for navigating the waves in Punta Negra. To tailor the experience to your needs, we start by categorizing participants into three groups based on their surfing proficiency: beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
We will kick off the session with warm-up exercises both on land and in the water, preparing your body for the physical demands of surfing while minimizing injury risks. Then, it's time to venture into the ocean! Initially, you’ll practice key techniques and stances through shore exercises. Your instructor will guide you in finding balance on the board and seizing ideal wave conditions.
After a 75-minute lesson, we will reconvene at our original meeting point. For those enrolled in a multi-class series, we look forward to seeing you at your next session!
Lesson Structure
Upon booking your surfing course, options are available for either a single lesson or a package of multiple lessons across varying schedules. You can choose from packages of 4, 8, or 12 sessions, which can be spread out over 2 weeks, 2 months, or 3 months, allowing you flexibility in your training!

Important information
We'll meet at the chosen time at Playa Punta Rocas, Punta Negra 15851.
Please arrive 15 minutes in advance.
Please note
- Each student should bring a change of swimwear, towel and sandals.
- The beach where the class takes place depends on the state of the sea. Once we know which beach is confirmed, we will inform you by email.
- We recommend you to be punctual. If you arrive late, you won't be able to enter the water as the instructor will already be in the water, so you will lose the lesson without the option to make it up. It's only possible to reschedule a class if the cause is justified (illness, travel, etc.) and if Olasperu is duly informed at least 24 hours in advance.
