Your adventure begins with a pickup from Purmamarca between 10:15 am and 10:30 am, setting the stage for our journey to the vast Salinas Grandes. These immense salt flats rank among the largest in South America and stand out as one of the most photographed locations in the northwest region of Argentina.

As we navigate the steep winding paths of the Lipán, Saladillo, and Abra de Potrerillos hills, you'll be treated to stunning panoramic views of the rugged Purmamarca landscape. While on the trail, pay attention to the local fauna; you might spot some vicuñas and llamas  along the way!

Upon reaching the breathtaking altitudes of Salinas Grandes, situated at approximately 3,450 meters above sea level, you'll be awestruck by the sight of the seemingly infinite white desert sprawled out beneath us. The striking contrast of the salt flats against the azure sky makes for a perfect photographic opportunity.

We will dedicate 45 minutes to exploring Salinas Grandes, where you'll gain insights into its history and formation before retracing our steps back to Purmamarca. Once we return, you'll have an hour of free time to enjoy lunch or wander through the town at your own pace.

After our time in Purmamarca, we'll begin our journey back, aiming to arrive by approximately 3:30 pm.
