We will begin our day bright and early at 5 am, with a pickup from your hotel in Quito, setting out towards Baeza. This vibrant town will mark our initial stop, where we'll enjoy a traditional breakfast while soaking in stunning panoramic vistas of the lush rainforest.
Once we've recharged, we'll proceed to one of the highlights of our excursion: the enchanting waterfall located within Cayambe Coca National Park. Standing at 50 meters, its majesty and the surrounding scenery are sure to astound you!
Our adventure continues as we visit the viewpoint of the Coca Codo Sinclair hydroelectric plant. As we make our way to the Tayos Caves, a delightful traditional lunch from the Amazon region awaits us at a location offering exceptional views of the Ecuadorian jungle.
Post-lunch, we will navigate through a series of streams leading us to the renowned Cueva de los Tayos (Tayos Caves). This extraordinary natural wonder serves as a home for the tayos birds, a species endemic to this area, that can be spotted throughout the nooks of the cave.
After immersing ourselves in the captivating landscapes of the Amazon, we'll begin our return journey, arriving back at the hotels around 8 pm.
