If you have an interest in butterflies, a trip to the Mindo Butterfly Garden offers an enriching experience. Departing from Quito, this excursion immerses you in the captivating world of these beautiful insects.

Mindo Butterfly Garden Day Journey

Our adventure begins at 7:30 am at Avenida de los Shyris & Holanda, where we will board a comfortable minibus. The scenic drive leads us to the quaint village of Mindo, nestled in the Andes, where a mesmerizing butterfly haven awaits.

Upon arrival, you'll have a chance to snap a memorable photo at the renowned Central Park. Following your picture-taking, we will embark on a guided exploration of the Mindo Butterfly Garden.

Throughout the tour, an experienced guide will share insights about the life cycles of these vibrant and intriguing insects. In addition to butterflies, expect to encounter hummingbirds and an array of stunning flora, including orchids.

Once the tour concludes, a delightful picnic lunch will be served. This will be followed by some leisure time to wander around Mindo at your own pace. After discovering more about this picturesque town, we will visit a chocolate factory to learn about the chocolate-making process, complete with tastings.

As the day comes to an end, we will make our way back to Quito, concluding the experience around 7:30 pm.

On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the scheduled time at the Tribuna de los Shyris at the following address: Av. de los Shyris & Holanda, Quito, Ecuador. We recommend getting to the meeting point between 10 and 15 minutes early.
