We will gather at the entrance of the Centro Comercial Iñaquito shopping centre at the designated time before boarding a bus to embark on our journey to Templo Jempe. Are you prepared for an unforgettable experience in this center that focuses on holistic healing?

Once we arrive, the Temazcal ceremony will commence. But first, you might wonder: what exactly is the Temazcal? It refers to a traditional steam bath originating from Mesoamerica, a practice rooted in pre-Hispanic cultures.

To kick off the experience, a bonfire will be lit while we share details about the ceremony's process. The shamans will then begin to chant ancient songs aimed at purging negative energies using soplo, medicinal snuff, and plants. Following this, we will enter the Temazcal, where we will invoke the presence of the four elements: water, earth, fire, and air.

Next, hot volcanic stones will be added into the Temazcal, leading to the creation of a steam bath designed to detoxify both your body and mind. While you relax, soothing sounds will play in the background to aid you in connecting with your inner self. As we conclude the Temazcal session, you will experience a bath using moon water.

After four hours filled with rituals and experiences, you will have time to change in the facilities of the center. To wrap up the activity, a vegetarian meal paired with pure cocoa drinks will be provided.

We will bid you farewell and return to the meeting point in Quito, or you can choose to remain at the Jempe Temple Center.
