The adventure begins at 8 am when you will be collected from your accommodation in Rethymno. We will embark on a journey into the heart of Crete, where you can immerse yourself in its picturesque villages and striking vistas.

Your first stop will be Kotsifu Gorge, an area famous for its towering cliffs and remarkable geological formations that are sure to amaze you. Within this gorge, we’ll encounter a historic church set among the rocks and delve into its intriguing past.

The itinerary will take you next to the historic Askifou plateau, where you can capture photographs of its dramatic landscape before moving on to Plakias Bay. Here, you will have an hour of free time to unwind at the beach and enjoy a swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Libyan Sea.

Following this leisurely interval, we will continue through the inner mountains of Crete, arriving at the village of Kallikrati. You will have the chance to explore the rich traditions of this ancient community before proceeding to Argyroupolis, known for its stunning waterfalls—a truly breathtaking sight.

The tour will conclude at Lake Kournas, where you can enjoy lunch at a local eatery at your own pace. You’ll have ample opportunity to wander and appreciate this scenic natural site.
