Situated between the French islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique, Dominica is a stunning island nation in the Caribbean, part of the lesser Antilles. Our adventure will start with a pickup at the cruise terminal in the vibrant capital, Roseau, right on schedule.

Our first destination is the Dominica Botanical Garden. This expansive green haven, established during the time of the British Empire, showcases a variety of native tropical flora, including the renowned Bois Kwaib, recognized as the national flower of Dominica.

In addition to observing myriad native plants, flowers, and trees, participants may spot several indigenous birds. Among them, the most notable is the Sisserou parrot, which holds the title of the national bird and is featured on the country's flag.

Following our visit to the Botanical Gardens, we will embark on the next segment of our tour of Dominica, making our way to the northern coast to explore Fort Shirley. This historic fort, constructed within a volcanic crater, was established by English forces during their conflicts with the French in the Lesser Antilles.

After uncovering the rich history associated with Fort Shirley, our journey will lead us to a scenic beach in the vicinity, subject to the day's weather. Here, you'll enjoy 45 minutes of leisure time to swim, relax, or grab a bite to eat.

Ultimately, we will conclude this enjoyable tour back at the meeting spot in Roseau, approximately 5.5 hours after our initial pickup.
