Classic Itinerary (1 Hour)
Your journey will begin at the time you choose, meeting at the St. George's Fountain in Rothenburg, where we will embark on a stroll through the town's most significant historical landmarks.
Highlights will include the medieval Market Square, the remarkable Town Hall standing at 65 meters (213 feet), and a visit in front of the impressive St. Jacob's Church. We will also enter the gardens of Rothenburg Castle, where you can admire the remaining chapel dedicated to St. Blaise.
From this elevated vantage point, marvel at the winding contours of the river Tauber and the intriguing Topplerschlösschen, a medieval residential tower equipped with defensive features. After an hour of exploration, we will conclude the tour back at the starting location.
Classic Itinerary + St. Jacob's Church (1.5 - 2 Hours)
This option follows the same path as the previous itinerary, with the addition of an interior visit to St. James' Church, a revered pilgrimage site completed in 1485.
Discover the grandeur of this Gothic basilica and its two renowned altars: the Altar of the Twelve Apostles and the Altar of the Holy Blood. Crafted by the skilled artists Friedrich Herlin and Tilman Riemenschneider, these masterpieces are not to be overlooked!

Historic Costume
If you wish to go on the tour dressed in an authentic medieval historical costume, you must pay the local provider 20EUR per person on the day of the tour.
