The Cube Houses, City Hall, Museumpark, and Veerhaven are all part of an exciting exploration on two wheels through Rotterdam, allowing you to experience the city's essence in a comfortable and efficient manner.

Activity Overview

At the designated meeting point of 1 Linker Veerdam, we will gather and prepare to embark on a bicycle tour around Rotterdam. Renowned as one of the most bicycle-friendly cities globally, this is the perfect place to enjoy a ride!

Our cycling adventure begins as we navigate towards the city’s notable landmarks. Our first destination will be the Hotel New York, historically significant for serving as a departure point for countless emigrants heading to North America in the early 20th century.

Next, we will cycle towards the stunning Erasmus Bridge, affectionately dubbed ‘The Swan’. This architectural marvel stands as one of the iconic symbols of Rotterdam.

Linking the historic core with the modern Kop van Zuid district, the bridge leads us to Veerhaven. Here, we will visit the charming old port, which remarkably withstood the destruction during the Second World War.

Our journey continues into the Museum Quarter, the cultural heart of Rotterdam, where a collection of significant museums is connected by the beautiful Museumpark.

To recharge, approximately 20 minutes will be allocated for free time on Oude Binnenweg, one of Rotterdam's bustling streets, ideal for enjoying refreshments or indulging in some shopping.

After our break, we will proceed to the City Hall, the historic Laurenskerk church, and, of course, the unique cube houses. Bring your camera to capture these moments! Our biking journey will also take us to the Markthal, the city's vibrant market space, concluding at the Koningshaven Bridge, an iconic industrial site.

After cycling for approximately 3 to 3.5 hours, we will return to our starting point, marking the end of this memorable bike tour.
