Rotterdam Bike Tour

The Cube Houses, City Hall, Museumpark, Veerhaven... This cycling expedition through Rotterdam undoubtedly represents the most enjoyable and efficient approach to discover the city.

Activity Overview

We will gather at Number 17 Schiehavenweg at the scheduled time, and as soon as all participants are present, we will embark on a bike journey across Rotterdam. With its excellent cycling infrastructure, you're in one of the world’s premier locations for biking!

Our adventure will kick off as we pedal towards the key attractions of the city. Our first destination will be the Hotel New York, historically significant as one of the main departure points for numerous emigrants bound for North America in the early 20th century.

Next, we’ll cruise towards the Erasmus Bridge, affectionately nicknamed ‘The Swan.’ This stunning structure stands as one of the most distinguished symbols of Rotterdam!

As we cross this bridge linking the historic core to the contemporary Kop van Zuid district, we will arrive at Veerhaven, a historic harbor that remarkably survived the ravages of the Second World War.

Our journey will then take us to the Museum Quarter, recognized as the artistic focal point of the city. Here, we’ll explore Rotterdam’s key museums, interconnected by the scenic Museumpark.

To pause for a moment, a break of approximately 20 minutes will be provided on the lively Oude Binnenweg, one of the city's vibrant thoroughfares, where you can enjoy a drink or indulge in shopping.

After our respite, we’ll resume our cycling adventure to visit City Hall, the breathtaking Laurenskerk church, and, of course, the remarkable cube houses. Be sure to capture some memorable photographs! Our tour will then proceed to the Markthal, the principal market in the city, concluding with a visit to the Koningshaven Bridge, a landmark of Rotterdam’s industrial heritage.

After approximately 3 to 3.5 hours, we will make our way back to the starting point, concluding our bike tour.
