Day Trip to Black River and YS Falls
Your adventure begins with a 7 am pick-up from your hotel in Runaway Bay, followed by a scenic drive to the island's southern region. For approximately two and a half hours, you will traverse the north coast of Jamaica until we reach the Black River.
Once there, you'll board a boat for an exploration of the Black River, which stretches an impressive 53 kilometres and ranks among the largest rivers in Jamaica. As we glide along its waters, brace yourself to encounter breathtaking wildlife and vegetation. Keep an eye out for the resident crocodiles! After this delightful river experience, we will make a pit stop to savor a traditional Jamaican dish.
A brief trek through the tropical forest will lead us to an idyllic spot where the stunning YS Falls cascade gracefully over the rocks, offering a truly captivating view. Here, you can enjoy a refreshing swim in a natural pool or choose to explore the nearby trails or bask in the sun on the surrounding rocks.
As the day winds down, we will return you to your hotel in Runaway Bay by 8 pm.
