Description

We'll convene at Auto Posto Piracema at the specified time, poised to set off on our hiking expedition around Lago do Amapá. Prepare to navigate trails rich in Amazonian flora and fauna, all situated in the heart of Rio Branco.

During this moderate hike, our path will lead us roughly 5 kilometers (3 miles) around the Lago do Amapá, a region designated for environmental conservation. As we traverse the forest, the route will guide us through a lush environment filled with characteristic trees of the Amazon biome, including the majestic samaúmas, durable rubber trees, paxiúbas, mulateiros, and colorful achiotes.

Additionally, stay alert for the variety of wildlife that inhabits this remarkable natural sanctuary. As we progress along the trail, we might encounter friendly monkeys residing near Lago do Amapá.

Before concluding our adventure, we will pause to enjoy a light refreshment, featuring rejuvenating juice, snacks, and cookies.

After about three hours of exploration, we will gather once more at the meeting point to bid farewell. Until we meet again!
