Xaxins Trail Hiking Tour

At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your hotel and embark on an exciting hiking adventure along the Xaxins trail. Are you prepared to explore the Serra Catarinense?

Stretching over 3 kilometers (almost 2 miles), we will traverse a trail with a unique name, which we will elaborate on during our journey. Throughout the hike, keep an eye out for the ancient xaxins, tree ferns that are native to the Atlantic Forest, recognizable by their stout trunks and large, fern-like leaves.

Additionally, this excursion will offer opportunities to admire breathtaking views featuring cascading waterfalls and a variety of other flora, including the distinctive araucaria. To recharge our energy during the hike, we will pause for a refreshing water break and enjoy some delightful apple chips.

After approximately two and a half hours of immersing ourselves in the stunning environment of São Joaquim National Park, we will return to our original meeting location to conclude the tour.
