Traveling to Samaná from Sabana de la Mar
At your preferred time, head to the dock in Sabana de la Mar, located along Av. Duarte. There, you will need to check in to board the ferry destined for Samaná. Once boarding is complete, it’s time to embark!
Once you are on the ferry, sit back and soak in the stunning views while gliding over the waters of Samaná Bay. This journey provides a delightful opportunity to appreciate the scenic beauty characteristic of the northern region of the Dominican Republic.
After about one hour, you will arrive at the Samaná pier.
Upon arrival, you have the freedom to explore Samaná at your own pace, a prime location for witnessing humpback whales in the Dominican Republic. Be sure to wander along the Santa Bárbara de Samaná promenade or consider a visit to Cayo Levantado.

At your chosen time, please go to the Sabana de la Mar dock (3J88+8HX, Av. Duarte, Sabana de la Mar 25000, Dominican Republic). You can see the exact location of the meeting point at this Google Maps link.
Please be at the meeting point at least 30 minutes before the boat's departure time.

The boat does not have bathrooms, so we recommend going to the bathroom before the journey.
