Tour Options
During the booking process, choose between the following options. Both begin at Pl. Bouqueyre and include an English-speaking guide, admission to the wineries, and a wine tasting:
Half-Day Tour (4 Hours 15 Minutes)
After a brief safety chat, hop onto the electric bikes and embark on a tour of Saint Emilion's extensive vineyards.
Cycling across scenic hills, pass by centuries-old vineyards and beautiful castles. You’ll learn about the history of the region, its unique soil, and the traditions behind its world-famous wines during the journey.
The first stop will be a family-run winery where you'll learn about the vineyard and the wine-making process, from grape to glass. Enjoy a guided tasting of 4 wines to explore their characteristics and nuances.
After the tasting, relax in nature with a selection of cured meats and cheeses paired with wine. Enjoy the beauty of the French countryside while sampling typical regional products.
Once re-energized, cycle back to Saint Emilion, concluding with another tasting of 4 wines in a cosy venue. Distinguish between different varieties and discover how soil and cultivation influence flavors.
After a 12-kilometre (7.45-mile) route, return to the meeting point and end the tour with one last toast.
- Schedule: Monday to Saturday at 2 pm and Sunday at 11 am.
Full-Day Tour (7.5 Hours)
For a more complete experience, this option is ideal. Begin the electric bicycle tour by visiting 2 wineries to learn in-depth about winemaking. Enjoy a tasting of a total of 10 wines after the visits.
A special stop will be made for a picnic-style lunch in the gardens of a château, featuring a selection of typical delicacies paired with excellent wine.
After lunch, follow the same itinerary as in the previous option until returning to Saint Emilion, concluding this full-day experience after a total of 7.5 hours.
