Visit to Córdoba, Pijao, and Buenavista
At 8 am, we will gather at Carrera 5 in Salento, initiating our journey to our first destination nestled in the heart of Colombia's Coffee Cultural Landscape (CCLC).
Our first stop is Pijao, a village distinguished as "pueblo sin prisa" (village without haste). As we stroll through the vibrant and charming streets, we will share intriguing stories and insights about this delightful town.
Next, we will proceed to Córdoba, recognized as one of the newest towns in Quindío. Discover the narratives of the peasant settlers who founded Córdoba while we explore its key landmarks.
Afterward, we’ll take a short break for a snack to revitalize ourselves before resuming our journey. Our final destination will be Buenavista; can you imagine the origin of its name? This town serves as a remarkable lookout point! From various spots within the town, you can savor the breathtaking coffee-growing vistas, including the picturesque Maravélez valley, traversed by the La Vieja River.
We will return to our starting point in the afternoon, between 4 pm and 5 pm.

Important information
On the day of the activity, we'll meet at 8 am at the Cocora Trek office located at Carrera 5, 10-11, in Salento (Cra. 5 ##10 - 11 L1, Salento, Quindío, Colombia). We recommend being at the meeting point 10 to 15 minutes before the pickup time.
The guide always wears a T-shirt and cap with company logo.
