Your adventure commences with a pick-up from your Salvador de Bahia hotel, scheduled between 12:30 pm and 2 pm. This cultural exploration through the heart of this captivating Brazilian city promises an intimate look into Bahian traditions.

Our first destination is the Casa do Rio Vermelho, the former home of the celebrated author Jorge Amado and his wife, Zélia Gattai. Here, we will learn about the profound bond shared by Amado with contemporaries like Carybé and Pierre Verger, who played pivotal roles in the artistic movement known as baianidade.

Next, our itinerary leads us to the Santa Maria Fort, where we will discover the Verger Space. This exhibition pays tribute to the remarkable achievements of the French-born photographer. Throughout his career, Verger captured the essence of various cultures, including those of Japan, Spain, Niger, and, importantly, Brazil.

Following our visit to the Verger Space, we will continue to the San Diego Fort, home to the Carybé Space. Here, we will observe the diverse artistry of Carybé, an Argentine who embraced Brazilian nationality. His portfolio is incredibly varied, encompassing ceramics, murals, sculptures, and prints, all showcasing his remarkable talent, particularly in painting.

Concluding our tour, we will return to your hotel in Salvador de Bahia, with an expected arrival time of 6:30 pm.
