Transfer Overview
We will gather at your selected meeting point in Salvador de Bahia, 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure. From there, we will proceed to the marine terminal, from which we will embark on a boat journey to the beautiful island of Itaparica.
After traveling for approximately one hour, we will arrive and transfer to a minibus heading to the Bom Jardim quay located in Valença. Following a two-hour drive, we will board a speedboat for the final 15 minutes to reach the port of Morro de São Paulo.
Upon arrival, you'll have ample free time to wander through this enchanting locale at your own tempo. We suggest unwinding on the stunning beaches with fine white sand or trying out exhilarating water sports like surfing and kitesurfing. You'll find it hard to leave!
You can explore the well-known natural pools of Garapuá, indulge in a mud bath at Gamboa, take a boat tour around the island of Tinharé, or even venture to the nearby island of Boipeba, celebrated for its crystal-clear waters. The decision is all yours!

This transfer service incorporates pickup from your hotel in Salvador de Bahia or from Salvador de Bahia airport, depending on your chosen option. The hotel zones available for pickup include:

Return Trip to Salvador de Bahia
When making a reservation, you can opt for either one-way transfer to Morro de São Paulo or a round-trip option. If you select the latter, be sure to indicate your desired return date, ensuring it is not the same as your outbound trip. Returns will be from the port of Morro de São Paulo at the following times each day: 6 am, 10 am, 12:30 pm, and 3:30 pm.
To accommodate your flight schedule, we suggest the following timings:
- Pickup at 5 am and boat boarding at 6 am: for flights departing from Salvador between 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm
- Pickup at 11 am and boat boarding at 12:30 pm: for flights departing from Salvador between 7 pm and 9 pm
- Pickup at 1:50 pm and boat boarding at 3:30 pm: for flights departing from Salvador from 10 pm onwards
For Children Under 5
It's important to note that children under 5 years old can travel free when one child is booked per adult. For additional children under 5, you must book tickets for children aged 5-11 years.

The total journey time will be between 3 hours 15 minutes and 4 hours 15 minutes, depending on the final destination you chose when making your booking.
- Maritime terminal: 3 hours 15 minutes
- Central hotels: 3 hours 45 minutes
- Airport: between 3 hours 45 minutes and 4 hours 15 minutes
Important Info
- The pickup time at hotels starts 30 minutes before the time indicated in the reservation. The local tour company will get in touch with you beforehand to reconfirm the exact pickup time.
- Please note that, when switching vehicles (between minibus, boat, and speedboat), it's your responsibility to move your luggage.
- For pick-ups at the hotel or airport, we recommend you to be ready 10 minutes in advance.
- If you have to show up directly at the sea terminal, we recommend you to be there 30 minutes in advance.
- The provider is not responsible for any delays due to the client.
Luggage
You may bring a maximum of one 23 kg (50 lbs) suitcase and one 10 kg (22 lbs) suitcase per person.
Return to Salvador
If you've booked the option that includes the return to Salvador de Bahia, the schedules from the port of Morro de Sao Paulo will be as follows:
- 6 am: recommended for flights departing from Salvador between 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm
- 12:30 pm: recommended for flights departing from Salvador between 7 pm and 9 pm
- 3:30 pm: recommended for flights departing from Salvador from 10 pm onwards
You must be at the Morro de São Paulo terminal 30 minutes in advance.
Fees & Additional Info
The tour does not include the pier fee. You must pay the amount in cash on the same day of the activity:
- For departures from Morro de São Paulo: 10BRL per person
Pickups and drop-offs are only made to hotels or inns, not to private homes or seasonal residential rentals. If you're staying in either of the latter two types of accommodation, the local provider will direct you to the nearest hotel where the transfer service is provided.
In addition, you'll need to pay the island access fee of 70BRL per person at the hotels.
