At the designated hour, we will gather at Largo do Pelourinho to embark on this enlightening journey in a lively cultural venue. Are you ready to explore the sonorous creativity and authentic rhythms of Salvador? Let's begin!

The rhythms endemic to Salvador are woven into the daily lives of its people. Drawing influence from the African origins, you will discover the deep connections to samba and the energizing candombe rituals.

In this session, we will dive into percussion and samba-reggae under the guidance of seasoned musicians who will provide foundational insights, enabling us to appreciate the diversity of local musical expressions. Interestingly enough, these rhythms have even had an impact on iconic artists like Michael Jackson.

After the class, we will conclude our activity with farewells, having enjoyed a memorable experience lasting approximately 2 to 3 hours.

Upon reserving your spot, you will have the option of including a pickup and drop-off service from your accommodation. If you choose this option, you can expect to be collected from your preferred location in Salvador between 30 and 60 minutes before the class begins.
