Description
Discover the beauty of the Colombian island through this 2 or 3-day tour of San Andrés. Experience the lush palm trees of Acuario Mágico, the enchanting manta rays of Cayo Acuario, take a refreshing swim in La Piscinita, and enjoy a leisurely catamaran ride.
San Andrés 2 or 3-Day Tour
Day 1: Cayo Acuario
We will gather at the designated time and make our way to the beach where a boat will be prepared for our journey to Cayo Acuario?. As we sail through the inner bay of San Andrés, prepare to navigate through its stunning mangrove region, home to majestic manta rays.
Upon arrival at Haynes Cay, you'll be granted 4 hours of leisure time to swim in the pristine waters, creating an experience akin to immersing yourself in paradise! Did you know that this is the second-largest cay in San Andrés?
Additionally, we suggest venturing to the Rose Cay zone for an exhilarating snorkelling experience where you can marvel at vibrant fish and nurse sharks swimming in the clear turquoise sea.
After this delightful excursion, we will reconvene on the boat and journey back to the mainland, marking the end of our first day.
Day 2: Island Tour and Catamaran Experience
Upon our gathering at the agreed time, we will embark on an exploration of the island’s most noteworthy sites aboard a traditional Colombian chiva.
Our first destination will be Morgan's Cave or the Pirata The Persistence Museum, based on your selected starting time. Following a 30-minute visit, we will continue to Westview Park.
Once we arrive, we’ll take in the breathtaking views of the Caribbean. Here, you will also have a chance to cool off at La Piscinita, a natural oasis where exotic fish can be spotted. A slide is available for a fun plunge into the water!
Afterward, we will return to the shore, where you’ll have free time to explore San Andrés further or enjoy lunch at your leisure. Later, we will regroup to board the Triton Catamaran, cruising through the inner bay while enjoying the sunset over the 'Sea of Seven Colours'. The ambiance is enhanced by the exciting music from our DJ.
Before heading back to San Andrés, conditions permitting, we’ll stop for half an hour to enjoy a refreshing swim in the Caribbean's crystal-clear waters. We will conclude our tour upon returning to the initial meeting point.
Add a 3rd Day: Johnny Cay
On your selected day, we will depart for the beach where a boat will transport us to Johnny Cay, the largest cay surrounding San Andrés. During our visit, indulge in the sight of coconut trees, soft white sand beaches, and iguanas that thrive in a protected area of the islet.
You will have ample free time to explore local bars and restaurants or bask in the sun on its spectacular beaches.
Finally, we will make our way back to your hotel, concluding our adventure after 4 hours of enjoyment. Until next time!
