San Andrés 2 or 3 Day Tour
Description
Discover the beauty of the Colombian island with this 2 or 3-day San Andrés excursion. Experience the lush palms of Acuario Mágico, encounter manta rays at Cayo Acuario, swim in La Piscinita, and enjoy a catamaran ride.
2 or 3-Day San Andrés Excursion
Day 1: Cayo Acuario
We will gather at the scheduled meeting point and proceed to the beach, where a boat awaits us to embark on our journey to Cayo Acuario?. As we navigate through the inner bay of San Andrés, we'll glide past the enchanting mangroves, where manta rays thrive.
Upon reaching Haynes Cay, a generous four-hour window will be yours to relish swimming in its pristine waters—truly an experience akin to being in a tropical paradise! Did you know it's the second-largest cay within the San Andrés archipelago?
Don't miss the opportunity to venture towards the Rose Cay area for snorkelling, where vibrant fish and nurse sharks gracefully traverse the turquoise expanse.
Afterward, we will return to the boat to conclude our first day on this idyllic adventure.
Day 2: Island Tour and Catamaran Experience
We'll reconvene at the pre-arranged time to commence an exploration of the island's highlights aboard a traditional Colombian chiva.
Our initial destination will be Morgan's Cave or the Pirata The Persistence Mumsem, depending on your selected starting time. Following a half-hour visit, we will journey to Westview Park.
Upon arrival, we'll gaze out over the magnificent Caribbean Sea. Additionally, we will refresh ourselves at La Piscinita, a natural oasis where you can admire the most exquisite fish. There’s even a slide for an exciting plunge into the water!
We will then head back to the shore, allowing you some free time to continue discovering San Andrés or enjoy lunch at your discretion. After our break, we will board the Triton Catamaran for a tour of the island's inner bay while watching the sunset over the 'Sea of Seven Colours'. To add an extra touch to the evening, enjoy uplifting tunes mixed by our DJ.
Before heading back to San Andrés, we will pause for a half-hour to relish a refreshing swim in the Caribbean's crystal-clear waters (weather permitting). Our adventure will conclude upon our return to the original meeting point.
Optional 3rd Day: Johnny Cay
At your designated time, we'll embark towards the beach where a boat is ready to take us to Johnny Cay, known as the largest cay surrounding San Andrés. While on Johnny Cay, you can appreciate the coconut palms, soft white sands, and the iguanas inhabiting the protected areas of the islet.
You'll have ample free time to explore local bars and restaurants or relax on its stunning beaches.
After four hours filled with enjoyment, we will return you to your hotel, bringing our journey to a satisfying close. We look forward to welcoming you again!
