Immerse yourself in the vibrant underwater scenery of San Andrés through this introductory scuba diving experience at the renowned San Andrés Barrier Reef.
Introductory Scuba Diving
At the scheduled time, our team will collect you from your hotel in San Andrés and transport you to the diving school, where certified instructors will be ready to accompany you throughout the session.
Following the completion of necessary forms, you'll undergo about 30 minutes of instruction on using the scuba diving gear and essential techniques. Soon after, you'll have the thrilling opportunity to dive in Caribbean waters. Together with your instructor, you will navigate through a vibrant underwater habitat teeming with life, including fish, corals, and starfish. This will be a truly memorable experience for those venturing into scuba diving for the first time!
With a dedicated guide by your side, you'll dive safely and explore the diverse marine environment of the San Andrés reef, recognized as the third-largest barrier reef globally. The maximum depth for this dive is set at 12 meters (about 40 feet).
After approximately 40 minutes of diving, we will return you to your hotel, completing the experience about 3 hours after departure.

Important information
At the indicated time, the local provider will pick you up at your hotel in San Andrés. Please be ready at least 10 minutes in advance.
Important
- You must be able to swim to take part in the diving class. This course does not award any diving certifications.
- After the activity, you must wait at least 24 hours before boarding an airplane.
- In order to participate, you must bring your swimsuit, a towel and a change of clothes.
- If, on the day of the activity, it's not possible to do the activity due to bad weather, no refund will be offered.
- If you have heart problems, you'll need a note from your cardiologist in order to participate in the activity.
