At the designated time, we will convene at your selected meeting point to commence our hiking exploration along the beautiful Muchas Aguas River. Ready for some adventure?
This natural treasure can be found near the mouth of the Valdesia Dam, replenished by the waters of the Nizao River, a vital river that flows 118 kilometers (73 miles) across the Dominican Republic.
As we journey along the river, our trail will take us to the impressive El Barco rock. Here, you will enjoy approximately an hour of free time to take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters of the Muchas Aguas River and capture stunning photographs against a picturesque backdrop.
Before we conclude our memorable day, we will enjoy a traditional Dominican meal featuring rice, salad, and your choice of water or a soft drink.
In the end, we’ll return to the starting point, completing our excursion roughly five hours after it begins.
Pickup Locations
This tour includes pickup from two different locations, depending on whether you are in Santo Domingo or San Cristobal:
- Santo Domingo: we will meet at your hotel in the city center. If your accommodation is out of this area, we will arrange an alternative meeting point.
- San Cristobal: we will meet at the central park of Cambita Garabito.

The day before the activity, the local tour company will contact you to confirm the exact pickup time, which will depend on your location.
On the day of the activity, we'll meet you at the meeting point you have indicated during the booking:
- Santo Domingo: we'll meet at your hotel in the center of the city. If you're staying outside of this area, we'll establish an alternative meeting point
- San Cristobal: we'll meet at the central park of Cambita Garabito (C. Eugenio Perdomo 11, Cambita Garabitos 91000).
Please arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes in advance.
