Day Trip Overview

Your adventure begins at the scheduled time from the Monument to Communication in San Fernando.

We will first visit Vejer de la Frontera, where you will enjoy a guided tour highlighting the stunning Plaza de España and the impressive medieval fortifications.

This region, known in Roman days for its salted fish, will be our next focus at the archaeological site of Baelo Claudia. Situated above Bolonia Beach, this ancient city reveals the secrets behind the production of garum, the highly prized sauce of the Romans.

Our journey continues towards Tarifa, located at the southern tip of Western Europe along the Strait of Gibraltar. Here, you will have 2 hours of leisure time to enjoy lunch and explore notable sites such as the Puerta de Jerez, the Church of San Francisco de Asís, and the Castle of Guzmán el Bueno.

We will then return to San Fernando, concluding our trip approximately 7 hours after our departure.
