Lake Atitlán Viewpoints Quad Tour

Overview of the Quad Tour

Are you eager to explore the elevated regions of the southern villages surrounding Lake Atitlán? This route is designed for you! Our adventure begins at 2da. Calle in San Juan La Laguna. Before we embark, we'll brief you on safety protocols and provide the quads and helmets. Let's hit the road!

The first leg of our journey takes us to the nearby village of San Pedro La Laguna. We will pause at strategic viewpoints along the route, allowing you to marvel at the charm of the town, the majestic Rostro Maya mountain, and the expansive beauty of Lake Atitlán. Don't forget to capture these moments!

Next, we continue toward San Marcos La Laguna, home to the renowned Cerro Tzankujil Nature Reserve. This sanctuary is ideal for unwinding while strolling through its trails and discovering the serene lakefront. You'll also have the opportunity to enjoy a refreshing swim, and for the adventurous, a chance to leap from its impressive 65.61-foot (20-meter) diving platform.

Following our time at the reserve, we'll return to the quads to head toward San Juan La Laguna, where we will ascend to the Kaqasiiwaan viewpoint. Upon arrival, we’ll dismount our quads and trek up the stairs for 15 minutes to reach the summit. Here, you will be rewarded with one of the finest panoramas of Lake Atitlán and the San Pedro Volcano.

After relishing the breathtaking views, we will start our return journey on quads, carrying with us the memories of this exhilarating adventure, as we conclude the tour after approximately 5 hours.

Requirements for Participation

Please be advised that to operate the quads, participants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driving license. Children between the ages of 9 and 17 may only ride as passengers.
