The Senda del Oso: Asturias' Premier Greenway

Are you eager to experience one of the most outstanding cycling trails in Spain? It’s time to ride the Senda del Oso! We will convene at the bicycle rental offices in the quaint village of Entrago at the arranged time.

Upon arrival, you'll receive your bicycle and helmet, along with guidance to ensure you fully enjoy this route. Following this introduction, you're free to start your journey! You’ll have the bike available to navigate the Senda del Oso, a repurposed mining railway now serving as one of Asturias' most picturesque Vías Verdes (Greenways).

The route extends over nearly 12.42 miles (20 kilometers), leading you through unspoiled nature and the delightful Asturian landscape. As you cycle, expect to traverse lush woodlands, dramatic gorges, and pristine rivers.

This pathway is also family-friendly, being appropriate for all ages and skill levels. While you pedal, you'll encounter bridges and tunnels, and with a bit of luck, you might catch a glimpse of the local wildlife. Could you spot a bear?

At the end of your ride, we will be ready to transport you back to the starting point via minibus for a well-deserved rest.

In total, the experience lasts between 2 and 3.5 hours, culminating with a farewell at the meeting location.
