We will pick you up from your hotel in the center of San Pedro de Atacama at your selected time and begin our journey south. After approximately 30 minutes of driving, we will arrive at a canyon with a stream of natural thermal water.

The Puritama Hot Springs feature seven pools filled with geothermal spring water from this stream, located in a picturesque setting at the foot of the Andes. Upon arrival, you will have 3 hours of free time to enjoy the hot springs and indulge in the soothing waters of these natural baths.

The thermal waters reach temperatures of 33.5ºC (92.3ºF) and are rich in minerals such as magnesium, sodium, lithium, and potassium. Local inhabitants have utilized these springs since before the Spanish conquest as a traditional treatment for rheumatism, arthritis, and muscle fatigue.

The site is equipped with wooden walkways connecting all eight pools and facilities, including restrooms and a café. This setup ensures you can maximize your time at the site and fully enjoy the relaxing benefits of the hot springs.

Fully refreshed, we will commence our return journey to the main square in central San Pedro de Atacama, arriving approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes after departure.
