Tour Overview

Situated just outside of San Pedro de Macorís, the Rum Historical Centre stands as the most renowned rum factory in the Dominican Republic. We will convene at the designated entrance at the specified time to commence our visit.

Our journey begins in the barrel room, where we will learn about the intricate aging process of rum. This segment will also shed light on the cultivation of sugarcane and the essential stages of distillation, integral in producing a high-caliber spirit.

Next, we will enter the blending room, which represents the culmination of the rum-making process. Here, we will observe how the drink acquires its distinctive flavor, aroma, texture, and color, making it one of the most sought-after products globally from the Dominican Republic.

Our tour, lasting approximately one hour, will conclude at the tasting bar. Here, you will have the opportunity to indulge in a tasting selection that you made during your reservation process.

• Cocktail crafting + tasting of 1 cocktail and 2 rums (1 hour and 35 minutes): create your cocktail, then relish another cocktail paired with 2 rums.
• Cocktail and four rums (1 hour and 15 minutes): experience one cocktail along with four rums, including Añejo, Gran Añejo, and Dark Series.
• Cocktail and three premium rums (1 hour and 45 minutes): taste a cocktail alongside three distinguished rums, such as Imperial, Imperial Onyx, and Porto.
