We’ll begin our adventure at the San Sebastián bus station and proceed to a region where the realms of history, nature, folklore, and legends converge beautifully. Are you ready to explore the enchanting Baztán Valley? Let’s set off!

The acclaimed author Dolores Redondo vividly illustrated the mythical tales of the Baztán Valley in her well-known book series. Upon entering Navarre, we will share insights about some of the distinctive natural landmarks that characterize this enchanting area.

Upon arrival in Elizondo, we will enjoy a leisurely stroll through the picturesque capital of the valley, adorned with elegant residences showcasing traditional architectural styles. We will cross its famous stone bridges spanning the Bidasoa River and immerse ourselves in the warm ambiance that exemplifies the truest spirit of Navarre. Naturally, we will explore the locations that served as inspiration for Dolores Redondo's literary works.

After delving into the tales of Elizondo’s past, our adventure continues as we journey towards the Zugarramurdi Caves, a fascinating karst formation that promises to astonish.

We will traverse water-carved galleries, all the while recounting the myths and legends that linger within this extraordinary site. Tales of witches’ gatherings and accounts of Navarrese witchcraft will be highlighted during our exploration of the caves.

Following an immersive tour through the breathtaking vistas of the Baztán Valley, we will return to our initial point in San Sebastián, concluding this 5.5 hour tour.
