We will gather at your chosen meeting point to embark on our adventure along the Basque Coast. Are you ready for a day of exploration?

After approximately 2 hours of travel, our first destination is San Juan de Gaztelugatxe. Here, the iconic chapel, dramatically positioned above the Cantabrian Sea, awaits your admiration—this site is famously recognized as Dragonstone by fans of Game of Thrones.

As you hear the sounds of the waves crashing against the cliffs, you'll be captivated by the breathtaking vistas while we explore this ancient fortress associated with House Targaryen, showcasing the exquisite beauty of the Bermeo coast.

Our journey then leads us to Bilbao, where a guided tour of the city's key attractions awaits. We’ll stroll through the Old Town Viejo, admire the Teatro Arriaga, the Plaza Nueva, the Church of San Antón, and the vibrant area of Abando. This tour provides insight into how the rich maritime heritage and industrial legacy of Bilbao harmonize with its striking modern architecture.

Finally, we’ll introduce you to the Guggenheim Museum, and, depending on your selected package, you may have the opportunity to explore its exhibitions at leisure.

After a comprehensive 9-hour experience, we will return to your meeting point in San Sebastián.

Excursion Choices

During the booking, you can select from the following options:

• Standard Day Trip Without Guggenheim Ticket: By choosing this option, we will depart from the Paseo de Federico García Lorca. The package includes transportation, a guide, as well as guided tours of Gaztelugatxe and the central areas of Bilbao. Lunch will be at your own expense, making it ideal if you prefer to enjoy more free time in the city and view the museum from outside.
• Standard Day Trip With Guggenheim Ticket: This option encompasses everything mentioned above and maintains the same departure point. After a brief explanation of Frank Gehry's stunning architecture, you will have access to the museum with an audio guide, allowing you to explore at your own pace before we head back.
• Small-Group Day Trip with Guggenheim Ticket: This option is perfect for a more personalized experience, limited to a maximum of 8 participants. Along with the inclusions of the prior package, this option provides pickup and drop-off from your hotel in San Sebastián along with a traditional lunch, featuring a selection of pintxos or a set menu with a glass of wine.
